I LOVE DILL HAVARTI!!!!!!!
Also, his name is Atticus. Yes, I named my dog after a character who, among other things, shot a dog.
More soon - just so freaking busy with work right now. BLEHAHRAHFHGH.
I guess I'll never forget her. And maybe I don't want to. Her spirit was wild, like a wild monkey. Her beauty was like a beautiful horse being ridden by a wild monkey. I forget her other qualities. - Jack Handey

Dill is the wonder-herb! I love dill havarti too, and dill in carrot soup, or barley soup, or any soup, and on veggie bakes, and salmon, and on just about anything! Long live dill!
Dill havarti is wonderful but you can't get it here in the UK. Although I wonder why havarti is such a popular cheese in Canada. It's a downright rarity in the US and UK. I wouldn't have thought the Danish population in Canada was significant enough to establish it as the ubiquitous dairy product that it is but somehow it has.
Yadda yadda yadda, these are the things one ponders when one paces the floor with a fretful newborn...
My favourite cheese commercial is the one where the SWAT team is about to take on the UFO, and then get distracted by the guy eating a sandwich... "Is that havarti???"
Aticus is good. I know a dog named Titus Andronicus. Latinate names rule.
Our fave with dill havarti is to melt it onto steamed broccoli and/or cauliflower. Mmmmmmmmmmm.
and to add to Deb's list: dill in creamy dressing on cucumber salad.
I never heard of it, and thought "That must be some bizarre celeb name" - and then looked it up.
It's cheese!?
